UC Merced's Thermal and Electrochemical Laboratory (TEEL) was recently visited by Mr. Allan Zaremberg, president and chief executive officer of the CalChamber, and Mr. Fred Ruiz, current Vice Chairman of the Board of Regents!
Allan Zaremberg is president and chief executive officer of the CalChamber. He took over the top staff position in 1998 after six years as executive vice president and head of CalChamber’s legislative advocacy program. Frederick Ruiz is current Vice Chairman of the Board of Regents. He is Chairman Emeritus and Co Founder of Ruiz Foods, Inc. Ruiz Foods is a privately held frozen food company founded in 1964; headquarters in Dinuba California with two additional facilities in Tulare, California and Denison, Texas.
